BIS project aroused interest at several events in St. Petersburg

On October 06, 2020, a webinar was held on the topic "Fundamentals of Waste Management" with the participation of representatives of Russia and Finland. The event was held as part of the project "Finnish Russian PPP catalyzing new green business (Cata3Pult) Program of Cross-border cooperation "Southeast Finland-Russia 2014-2020"

Among the speakers were specialists of state authorities (Committee for Improvement of St. Petersburg, Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, etc.) and experts in this field. # nbsp;
One of the speakers, Yuri Grigorievich Datsenko (PROMETEY Production and Commercial Company LLC) shared his experience in introducing landfill gas treatment technologies for MSW landfills using methanotrophic bacteria, and also spoke about the Baltic Industrial Symbiosis project in St. Petersburg and plans to create bio-preparations using recycled products that are formed by project participants.

On October 08, 2020, the Regional Council of the League of Responsible Consumption "Zero Waste League" met in a round table format. At a meeting of representatives of Danone Russia, Heineken in Russia, Coca-Cola HBC Russia, Baltika, Rus Food Fund, Smurfit Kappa St. Petersburg, Crowne Plaza, IKEA Parnas shared the results of internal sustainable development projects.

At the meeting, Tyreman Group, together with representatives of Tosnensky Mixed Feed Factory, presented the Baltic Industrial Plant project, talked about the activities carried out within the framework of the projects to promote the idea of ​industrial symbiosis and promote the formation of industrial symbiotic chains, and also invited everyone to join the project.
