Tyreman Group takes part into international study for Toolbox development for industrial symbiosis experts.
Tyreman Group takes part into international study for the development of tools and recommendations for managers who develop industrial symbiosis.
On May 14th and 18th, there was an interview with Tyreman Group representatives held by Circular Transition (Denmark) – company who does a research within the international project Baltic Industrial Symbiosis. The aim of the research is to develop a Toolbox for managers who develop industrial symbiosis chains in their regions. It is expected that the results would include recommendations for the development of industrial symbiosis, how to manage it and scaling possibilities. This Toolbox should be created on the base of experiences and knowledges of industrial symbiosis partners – members of the Baltic Industrial Symbiosis project. The data is collected by interviewing managers of companies who support industrial symbiosis development on international, national and local levels. During the interviews Tyreman Group representatives shared their experience of supporting industrial symbiotic chains development, including cooperating issues with potential participants, tools used for determining industrial symbiotic possibilities, main challenges that company face making its research activities.
It is expected that interview results would be used by Denmark researches while creating a Toolbox for managers who develop industrial symbiosis. The most valuable input of Tyreman Group is for those regions who start from scratch to implement industrial symbiosis practices.
