Visit to the production site of the Nord Pulp company

Tyreman Group representatives visited the production site of the Nord Pulp company – a participant of the “Baltic Industrial Symbiosis” project located in Fornosovo, Tosnenskiy district of Leningrad region and discussed manufacturing procedures. The visit was organized within the screening procedures in order to analyze a potentional opportunities of symbiotic chains development.

Company owns a turf development site and extracts high-moor pear to produce peat soil and organo-mineral fertilizers. Company looks for partners who can use crop residues that are a side product of turf development.

After the visit we took samples of secondary products to test them into the Living Lab.
